Why this, why now.
The problem I kept seeing was consistent: schools were running on paper systems that had not changed in twenty years. Fees tracked in ledgers. Admissions done by hand. Results compiled in spreadsheets that nobody fully trusted. And when a school did try to buy software, it either did not fit how they operated, or the vendor disappeared after delivery.
I started MDigital because I believed that gap could be closed — not with an off-the-shelf product that almost fits, but with software built around how each institution actually works, delivered by a team that stays to support it.
The decision to structure this as a company rather than a freelance practice was deliberate. Schools and organisations need accountability. They need to know there is someone to call when something breaks at 7 am before assembly — not just during the build. That requires a proper business, with support contracts and a team that stands behind its work.
We are building our reputation carefully, one client at a time. And we are committed to being the kind of technology partner that institutions can actually rely on — not just afford.
